About program

A specialized course on how to use metaphorical cards. The course has been prepared in such a way that it can be understood and mastered by specialists in various of fields, both beginners and those who already have knowledge and experience working with cards. Special attention is focused to their application in areas such as self-awareness, relationships and communication, stress management and team building.

This program provides an introduction to various types of metaphorical associative cards, the rules for their selection and use. Various layouts are presented and opportunities to test them in practice are provided. Graduates of the program acquire a set of various application methods and techniques, applicable both for personal purposes and for work with individual clients or groups.

The program is for coaching specialists, psychologists, educators, social workers, lecturers, HR staff and team leaders. Training format: lectures, discussions, exercises. Program strongly improves out of the box thinking skill.

The history of metaphorical cards. Myths and facts. Fields of use and cases. Selection of cards based on purpose of use, customer requests, age, etc. Rules and code of ethics for working with metaphorical cards. Focus, different question types and sequence. Working with consciousness and subconsciousness. Searching for resource states. Combining metaphorical cards and other techniques.

2-as modulis (24.05.29)

Communication' and relationships improvement.

Choosing the most appropriate metaphorical cards. Constellation fundamentals and communication system analysis. Diagnostics of relationships, nature of connection and personal boundaries. Hidden behavior scripts. Internal motivation towards all communication participants. Association, dissociation and the three position technique. Changing the internal state through external changes. Discovering new connections and touchpoints.

3-as modulis (24.06.05)

Stress management.

Metaphorical card decks are best suited for working with stress and trauma. Use cases, required competencies and potential risks. Major stressors and resilience to stress. Visualization using cards. Awareness of physical and psychological tension, emotions in the body and trigger zones. Card startup technique and resource status search. Discovery and acquisition of new characteristics and forms of behavior.

Therapeutic education of teenagers.

Selection of the most appropriate metaphorical cards, according to the age of the clients and the type of the request. Specialist preparation for work with children and adolescents. Work principles. A space of openness, trust and safety. Hero's path methodology, game forms and narrative creation. Representing reality through imagination. Principles of individual and group work. Searching for potential and creative energy.

5-as modulis (24.06.19)

Training and teamwork.

Group dynamics and ways to effectively use each phase using metaphorical cards. Introduction, personal values and expectations. Meetings, distribution of roles and the search for new talent. Brainstorming and encouraging creativity with the help of metaphorical cards. Decision-making, goal-setting techniques and full or partial use of cards. Recruitment based on observation and context.

Organizational information

Courses are conducted remotely using the Zoom platform.
The program consists of 5 meetings once a week.
Training time 12:00 - 13:30.
Individual and group homework is done between modules.
At the end of the course, a certificate confirming the acquired knowledge is issued.
